Nooie Home allows you to control and manage smart home devices using your mobile device. We understand the importance of your personal information and will do our best to protect it. Please read and understand this policy before using this product or service.

What information does Nooie Home collect?

In order to provide you with our service, we will ask you for some necessary personal information. If you don’t provide personal information, we may not be able to provide you with our products or service.

 

Information you provide to us:

Account or User Profile Data: When you sign up for our account, we may collect some of your information, such as your email address and username. While you use our products, we may further collect nicknames, profile photo, country codes, language preferences, or time zone information from your account.

Feedback: When you use the feedback and suggestions features in our products, we will collect your email address, and feedback to handle your issue and device failure in a timely manner. 

Information we collect automatically: 

In order to discover smart home devices and connect to a WLAN network, Nooie Home requires access to your device's location to obtain the WLAN networks list, location information, WLAN network identifier, and WLAN password. In order for Nooie Home to bind, control, and manage smart devices, we need to collect the following information: device name, model, version, manufacturer, serial number, device identifier, MAC address, IP address, device running status, custom properties, setting parameters, device status messages, and device control and usage records.

 

The following devices will access and use your personal information collected from basic services of Nooie Home management:

 

Lighting equipment: light bulb, lighting, smart lamp;

Energy-saving equipment: smart plug, power strip;

Security equipment: Wi-Fi alarm, door & window sensor, gas alarm (ZigBee), smart water sensor (ZigBee), body sensor (ZigBee), body sensor (Bluetooth)

Smart device related information:

Basic information about smart devices: When you use a smart device connected to our service, we may collect some basic information about the smart device, including device name, device ID, online status, activation time, firmware version and upgrade information.

 

Smart device reporting information: When you use our products, we may collect information reported by your device. For example, a smart outlet might report information about your appliance’s operating power, current, voltage, etc.

Setup information you provide:

When installing Nooie Cam or Nooie Home, you’ll be asked for certain basic information like your email address.

Nooie Cam related information: 

1) Environmental data from the Nooie Cam’s sensor: We collect data from the sensor built into Nooie Cam. The sensor collect data such as device ambient light in the room. By recording this information, Nooie Cam can know whether it’s dark and it should turn on night vision.

 

2) Video and audio signals and data: Nooie Cam can help you determine the purpose and the means for which you collect video and audio signals data. If you set up your camera to receive mobile notifications, we may process information from your Nooie Cam to send you alerts when something happens.
